The longterm objective for Andante- tools for thinking is to be an internationally recognised centre for evaluation research and practice. The company shall contribute to the evaluation profession through collaborative research programmes.

Theoretical research will guide practice in undertaking evaluation assignments. Research in the company shall be firmly grounded in practical experiences. The link between research and evaluation practice will be realised in two ways;

1. by undertaking assignments to lead evaluation processes and to facilitate evaluations that others are responsible for,
2. and to engage in education through designing courses and lecturing, and in developing teaching and training materials.
